The Ripple Continues

Another year has flown by and, as is my tradition, I use this week for reflection on what’s past, what’s present and what’s ahead.

It’s hard to believe that we kicked off our weekly leadership blog series on April 23, 2019 by introducing The LAITHOS Way™.  Since then, Jen, Tee and I have written on various topics with the goal to integrate the framework into our lives and the lives of our clients. We are all works in progress … or as Jen is fond of saying – we are “bringing the human back into being.”

Wherever you are on your journey, know that self-discovery, self-awareness, and learning from experiences contributes to expanding your leadership. We hope our blogs have encouraged you on your path with new perspectives, inspiration, and tools. We are sunsetting this series, but they will still be available on the website; feel free to visit us when you need some support by accessing our Blog link.

And, the coming year begins a new LAITHOS chapter as Jen embarks on her own unexpected and exciting leadership journey…we can’t wait to hear the stories of her impact. As a LAITHOS co-founder, she continues to live the foundation of our core values, beliefs, and work.  Her influence will always be felt.

There are exciting transformations on LAITHOS’ horizon, and we look forward to sharing them in 2024 through LinkedIn. Until then, here are a few reflections — from each of us — to ease you into 2024:

  • ME: We get caught up in the daily business of living rushing to get everything done. When you find yourself there, pause and take three deep breaths. Stop and really take in what is going on around you. Is this how you want it to be? If you need to, what small changes can you make to shift the circumstances? Remember … small achievable steps have the greatest impact long-term.
  • Tee: As years go by, what’s deeply important to us can shift. Living a fulfilling, integrated life means being aware of where your core values are being served and where they are not – both at work and home. Be purposeful in determining what needs to change in the coming year.
  • Jen: No matter what you do or where you do it, step into the beautiful space of leadership by taking responsibility in your world and inspiring others to do the same. Every journey is ripe with rewards!

Wishing you the best in the New Year!

This Week: Give yourself the gift of answering the question posed by the poet Mary Oliver, “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” We hope you choose to step into yours fully and authentically. Your world needs your leadership.
